If immigration reform would help boost our economy, why would anybody be against it?

The US has an unemployment rate of over 9% (it's actually higher but I'll use Obozo's false stats). How would giving 20 million illegals amnesty help the economy? That's 20 million more people taking away American jobs. Think boy think!
