US citizen serving in another countries military?

I'm pretty sure that if your a US citizen you can not serve in another countries military. however i was wondering if you are a naturalized citizen with duel citizenship to a friendly nation to the US can you serve in their military. example i was born in Trinidad however grew up and educated in the US. I served in the US Marines but i was thinking of going home and possibly serving in their military. Is that allowed?
