London Housing Solutions "LHS" landlords from hell?

Hi was wondering if there is anyone else out there who rent with London housing solutions I have been a tenant of there's for over a year and have been left to live in pretty poor conditions every time I phone to complain I just get spoken to like dirt and nothing ever gets done. I have tried to register on the council, but because I have enough bedroom space they say I am adequately housed. Finding another private rented place is almost impossible because they want to sign Tenancies straight away and LHS want 4 weeks notice, and I doubt I'll actually see my fall deposit back. Is anyone in or been in a similar situation and if so how did you get out of this nightmare Thanks
