Can someone help me with yu-gi-oh 5d's 2011 world championship -over the nexus-?

Can someone please help me I am stuck on the part where you have to beat gordan to get one of your friends duel runner parts.Like give me some tips or something(note: I do not have enough of the right monster cards to build another deck.)
